Brentford silenced St James' Park in a thrilling 3-2 victory over Newcastle United in the final Premier League fixture on Saturday, with Dango Ouattara netting a dramatic late winner.

The defeat only further sours the mood already surrounding Newcastle United, with the Magpies winless in their last five matches across all competitions, while they will now have to wait over a month since their last Premier League win against Leeds United.

Meanwhile, Outtara's late goal handed Brentford a second consecutive historic victory, having picked up their first-ever win at Villa Park last weekend, with today's triumph marking their first against Newcastle at St James' Park since 1934 - a 5-2 win in the Second Division.
